4.4% of the adult population in the United States has ADHD
That’s a staggering statistic. That number is likely far off from the real amount as many cases of ADHD in adults are not ever diagnosed. The Attention Deficit Disorder Association suggests that 6-8 percent of US adults (8 to 9 million) are ADHD sufferers.
This disorder plagues your quality of life and interferes with your relationships with others, while the symptoms are entirely mitigable.

Do You Have ADD / ADHD Symptoms?

Feeling Anxious

The clutter of working memory impairment, poor organization skills, and weak time management skills will keep you feeling angst, even when everything in your life is perfectly fine.

Constant Lack of Organization

You try your best to stay organized. Chances are you find yourself regularly creating new plans or rituals to stay ahead.

Sudden Outbursts

This anger can surface out of the blue, even when unwarranted. This mindset can seriously tear at relationships with friends, family members, and lovers.

Obsessive Activity

Obsessions serve as crutches. Whether it’s a drug (alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana, etc.), or a hobby (basketball, racing, woodworking, etc.), obsessions are commonplace for ADHD adults.

Mood Swings

Your emotions will come across as extreme (happy = ecstatic, sad = depressed, mad = freaking out) and there’s never a healthy balance or sense of control.

Impulsive Activity

A person with ADHD might use their impulsiveness in defiant, disrespectful and even physically aggressive ways. Adults often suppress this symptom due to an understanding of social norms.

Inability to Manage Your Time

This issue extends to every aspect of life. Deadlines are almost impossible to respect.

Passive Behavior

These people have inattention characteristics. They become forgetful, distract themselves easily and regularly lose everything.

Restlessness

The feeling of restlessness is relentless in ADHD folks. There’s no winning no matter how hard you try — you’re fighting a mind that’s wired to work against you.

Getting started

Ahead is open to everyone. Whether you have ADHD or all signs in your life point to it — we’re here to help.

Book your time at an Ahead clinic

If ADHD is known or suspected, find a time that works for you. Decide whether your visit to the doctor will go offline, at EZCare Clinic in San Francisco, or online, via telehealth.

Confirm your chosen date and time

You can do it by paying your visit online. First, or initial, visit costs of $275 after the appointment.

ADD & ADHD Initial Vizit

If you selected offline visit, come to the clinic at the appointed time. Your first clinic visit may run from 60-75 minutes, depending on your needs. If you chose online, then you will have a call with the doctor via telehealth. We take a multi-faceted approach to reach an ADD diagnosis. Forget all the little quizzes and questionnaires you find online — our ADHD doctors are licensed to practice in the state of California and can determine whether you’re medically held back by this debilitating disorder. Our doctors understand how ADHD can affect people differently, which is why they take the time to thoroughly understand you as a person and how your condition is impacting your life.

Fill out a short medical history

Twenty questions will help us get a good handle on your medical history, symptoms and experience with ADHD.

Quality ADHD care and psychiatric evaluation

Sometimes it’s not ADHD but things like anxiety or sleep deprivation making your life difficult.

Prescription for a medication

Your provider helps you choose the best and safest medication to start. If it’s another mental health issue, they can treat that too. Please note that prescribing a prescription for stimulant treatment is excluded if your consultation with a doctor occurs online.

ADD & ADHD Follow-up

We provide you with follow-up care and supervision throughout the development of your ADHD. The cost of each return visit is lower - $ 175.

Medications we provide

Stimulants

Non-stimulants

Stimulants are the most popular Rx ADHD drugs in California and America. We prescribe stimulants to many ADHD patients. It’s a dangerous drug if abused, but contrary to popular belief — this drug doesn’t “make you high” if taken as prescribed.
SHORT ACTING
Ritalin
One of the earliest ADHD medications, but still very widely used. This is also available in a long acting form. Cash or insurance.
SHORT ACTING
Adderall
The most commonly used short acting stimulant medication for ADHD. It is also available in a long acting form. Cash or insurance.
LONG ACTING
Concerta
This is one of the most commonly used long acting stimulants for ADHD. It has the advantage of less ups and downs throughout the day. Insurance only.
LONG ACTING
Vyvanse
One of the newest long acting stimulants, which is similar to Concerta in that there are less ups and downs throughout the day. Insurance only.
